Michele Heard Henderson RN
12/09/1967 -
Michele Heard Henderson passed on from this world on December 28, 2007 from complications of a bone marrow transplant. Born Michele Anjanette Heard in Dallas Texas on December 9, 1967, the middle child of three, her family moved to Karnack Texas when she was a child known lovingly to her family and friends as Cissy. She attended Karnack and Marshall Schools. Michele also attended Panola College, graduating first with a diploma in cosmetology and later with a degree in nursing. At the time of her death she was practicing as a registered nurse at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
Michele suffered with Lupus from childhood, but refused to allow illness to control her life. Despite her illness she cared deeply for all those around her and accomplished all the things no one believed possible. She was a loving wife, sister and daughter. A person who had a positive impact on all those she came into contact with. Michele will be remembered most for her love for her family and her passion for nursing.
Michele had many hobbies and interests which included fishing, crocheting, reading and spending time with family and friends. While she was never blessed with children, she was the proud parent of two loving dogs, Patches and Scooter, who waited at the foot of the stairs for her return each day. She will be missed by all those who know her, but never forgotten.
Michele is survived by her husband, Robert H. Henderson of Dallas, her parents Gary
D. and Michele Heard of Karnack, her sister and brother in-
